Prerequisites: Human Biology and/or Grade of “B” or better in Biology. This is an advanced biology elective emphasizing the structures and functions of the human body. The course is designed for those students considering a profession in or relating to the allied health fields. Strong emphasis is placed on the terminology in anatomy. Content includes directional and positional terms, biological organization, overview of body systems, and nutrition. Students will also dissect a cat in this course.
